Our company name, Mallain Lapin, is a nod to our first names
Manon and Alain — Weedon, Eastern Townships
Mallain Lapin was born from a simple, genuine encounter.
That of Manon and Alain, united by respect for life, pride in a job well done and a love of authentic products. At the farm in Weedon, it all started with little, but with a lot of heart: taking the time to do things right, then patiently crafting each piece to reveal its true quality.
The name Mallain Lapin reflects this story.
Manon and Alain, brought together by one project, one vision, one passion. A union that became an identity. Over the years, the company grew gently and solidly, on values that are not up for negotiation: rigour, consistency and respect for the product.
Today, the story continues differently, but it has lost none of its soul.
Manon now carries on alone, bringing the same know-how with the same care, the same high standards and, above all, the same love of the craft. The rabbits now come from a carefully chosen local partner who shares the same values: respect for the animal, quality and consistency.
Even if some things have changed, what matters most remains intact.
Every product is still crafted with the same gestures and the same care:
- a rigorous selection, without compromise
- well-mastered recipes, true to their origins
- artisanal processing, done with respect
